The registered email address and telephone number will be used to contact you in regards to necessary application procedures, such as notification of application receipt and notification of request for correction of the application. Please note that emails will be sent from information@dips.mlit.go.jp, so please configure for email settings to ensure you receive emails from this address. If there are special circumstances such as the inability to respond to corrections for a long period of time, we may contact you from an email address of the secretariat other than the above email address.

The screen changed while I was doing other work. Does it mean it is unavailable?
If you do not make any operation for a certain time, you will be logged out automatically from the DIPS2.0. Log in again and make an operation.
How long does entry take?
The time required for entry depends on the procedure, the preparation condition of the information which has to entered, and the degree of proficiency of the applicant for operations of a PC.
The time required for entry is expected to be about 20 minutes in the case of a registration procedure by a person who uses a PC on a daily basis with all information which has to be entered prepared in advance.

Not required.
Is it possible to issue multiple Unmanned Aircraft Remote Pilot Certificates?
Multiple skill certificates cannot be issued. Even if you are certified as both unmanned aircraft remote pilot CLASS Ⅰ and CLASS Ⅱ, you will only be issued one Unmanned Aircraft Remote Pilot Certificate.

No. Only one UAS type is allowed per application.
How long does it take to receive Unmanned Aircraft Remote Pilot Certificate (card) after applying for Unmanned Aircraft Remote Pilot Certificate?
It depends on the application status, but after procedures are completed, it should be easy to complete procedures within the following approximate number of days.
- For unmanned aircraft remote pilot CLASS Ⅰ, 10 business days from after paying registration and license tax until Unmanned Aircraft Remote Pilot Certificate is delivered
- For unmanned aircraft remote pilot CLASS Ⅱ, 10 business days from after the screening is completed to the issuance of Unmanned Aircraft Remote Pilot Certificate
Can I confirm the application status?
You can confirm the application status. For the confirmation procedure, see the operation manual.
Can I correct/drop the application contents?
You cannot directly correct the contents in the middle of an application, but you can cancel/drop an application, correct the application contents, and reapply. For the procedures to cancel/drop an application see the operation manual and to reapply, see the operation manual.
May I perform the procedure on behalf of the applicant?
Proxy applications will be available in a future release.
I have not received any e-mail.
Depending on the settings of your carrier, etc., you may not receive e-mails from the DIPS2.0. Check the e-mail settings of your carrier, etc. and change the settings to allow reception of e-mails from “information@dips.mlit.go.jp”.
I want to correct my application.
If the application status is "Waiting for procedure contents confirmation," "Currently processing corrections," or "Currently paying fees," you can withdraw the application and correct the application contents.
If you withdraw the application, the application status will be changed to "Procedures cancelled."
If the application status is "Waiting for procedures," "Currently paying registration and license tax," "Waiting for mailing procedures," "Procedures completed," or "Cancelled," the application cannot be withdrawn. In that case, please contact us using the contact details below.

You can change the telephone number and email address by applying for attribute change. Please refer to the operation manual for procedures. Please note that when applying for Unmanned Aircraft Remote Pilot Certificate, information is acquired from the attribute information linked to Remote Pilot Applicant Number registered that was registered in advance. This information cannot be corrected when applying for Unmanned Aircraft Remote Pilot Certificate. You can return your Unmanned Aircraft Remote Pilot Certificate by submitting an application for return. Please refer to the operation manual for the procedure.
Please note that the Unmanned Aircraft Remote Pilot Certificate will become invalid once the return application process is completed.
You will have to submit a new application for a certificate if you need the Unmanned Aircraft Remote Pilot Certificate after you have returned the certificate.

Does the user bear the transaction fees related to credit card payment?
No, the user does not bear the settlement fees.
Do the name of the credit card holder and the name of the person paying by credit card have to be the same?
Yes. The credit card cannot be used by anyone other than the person whose name is printed on the card, so it must be the same person.

The security code is the last 3 digits of the number printed on the back of the card. For American Express, it is the 4 digits of the number printed on the front of the card. You can select the payment method for each procedure.
